6/13/2006 Houston -- Apple’s newest retail store opens in Houston, Texas on Saturday, June 17, 2006. The new Apple store opens at the Memorial City Mall at 10:00 AM.
The Memorial City store will be Apple’s ninth store in Texas and second in Houston itself. The Apple Store is located on the first level between Bui Yah Kah and The Body Shop.

Studio, an area manned by Apple Creatives
who can help Mac users get the most out of
their Macs whether it’s for retouching
photos, composing music, making movies and
more. And for opening week, the store plans
a variety of workshops to help users learn
about GarageBand, podcasting, iPhoto, .Mac,
iLife ‘06 or using iWork ‘06 in business.
The first 1,000 people through the Memorial City store’s doors will get a free Apple t-shirt to remember the occasion; visitors can also register to win a Digital Lifestyle Collection that includes a 17-inch iMac, digital camera, camcorder and printer and an iPod nano.
