China's
first fishery patrol vessel carrying helicopters set off on its maiden
voyage from the southern city of Guangzhou on Tuesday bound for the East
China
Sea, state media reported.
The 2,580-ton Yuzheng 310 is China's fastest fishery patrol vessel and is equipped with the most sophisticated technology, said Wu Zhuang, director of the Administration for Fishery and Fishing Harbor Supervision in the South ChinaSea, according to the Xinhua news agency.
