How to apply for CenterPoint Energy “Agencies in Action”
-General Information
Place: Chinese Community Center 9800 Town Park Dr. Houston, TX 77036
Purpose:
This program aims at the heart of energy consumption, through education and renovation, “Agencies in Action” will assist income eligible homeowners in lowering their energy consumption by making the home itself more efficient and less wasteful.
Apply date: From 1/22/2008, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday 9-11am
Apply place: CCC #122 (9800 Town Park Dr. Houston, TX 77036)
Please read this sheet carefully before sent your application form, and make a clear copy of all necessary documents on 8.5”x11” size paper and bring with you to apply:
Eligibility:
1) Proof of monthly family income: single <$1,064，family of 2<$1,426，family of 3< $1,789，family of 4 <$2,151…。
2) Proof of ownership.
3) Proof of residency: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Waller, and Wharton.
What your shall bring when you apply:
Bring the original and make a clear copy of all necessary documents on 8.5”x11” size paper and bring with you to apply:
1) Property Tax Notice
2) Proof of Identification (Household include : yourself, spouse , and children)
3) Proof of Income (For applicant, spouse and children. Must be dated within last 60 days)
4) A self addressed & stamped envelope.
What CCC Will Do:
1. Once you turned in your application to CCC, a notice will be sent to your home within 6-8 weeks, to inform you about a site visit schedule.
2. CCC will conduct the assessment to see the condition of your home, then submit a work order to CNP for review. The project should be finished with 45 days after approval.
