12/9/2009-- China's State Council has
approved plans for 22 cities to build subways with a total investment of
882 billion yuan ($129 billion), the People's Daily Overseas Edition
reported Wednesday.
Eleven cities in
China
currently have subways covering a total of
835.5 km.
