Beijing Olympics 2008 >> Chinese Olympics Ceremonies to Feature Children's Faces
9/16/2007-- Zhang Yimou, one of the best movie directors in China, will direct the opening and closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games. He is collecting pictures of children's smiling faces from all over the world through the Olympic Organizing Committee. The collecting started on Sep. 5, and will be done by April 30, 2008. The committee has received more than 400 pictures so far. Zhang said he wants to give more people an opportunity to be part of the Olympics and that children stand for the future. Smiling faces of children from all over the world represent "one world, one dream."
