11/30/2006 Houston— The Houston Chinese Community Center held its annual gala at the Intercontinental Hotel. This year's theme, "A Salute to Asian American All-Stars", honored all facets of Asians Americans in the Houston community. This year's All-Star Recipients are:

More than 500 people attended the gala. Attendees also enjoyed an impressive presentation of the Chinese Community Center by Ron Stone, who was also MC of the event. The event raised over $300,000 for the construction of a new gymnasium at the community center.
