Houston Community News >> Houston City Festival 2006
10/6/2006 Houston -- Luis Palau Festivals (Houston City Fest) are a celebration of faith, fun and hop that touch hearts, transform lives and impact cities around the world through the power of Jesus Christ. Festivals are made FREE and open to all, thanks to the support of local leadership, businesses and ministries. Luis Palau has shared the Good News of Jesus Christ with hundreds of millions through his worldwide ministry, including over 21 million people face-to-face in more than 70 countries. His books and writings on matters of faith have been published in dozens of languages, and his radio broadcasts in both English and Spanish are heard daily on over 2100 radio stations in 42 countries.
Envision the biggest party you've ever attended. Multiply attendance by 100 or even 1,000. Now add two full days of fun, awesome Christian bands, an exciting children's area, world-class skateboarding and BMX demos, and opportunities to see your friends and family come to Jesus Christ. That, my friend, is a Luis Palau Festival.
Location and Time:CityFest Houston will take place at Eleanor Tinsley Park in downtown Houston, on Saturday and Sunday, October 7 & 8, 2006 from Noon to 10pm.
FESTIVAL ARTISTS: Wynonna Judd, Michelle Williams, Kirk Franklin, “El Puma” Rodriquez, Hawk Nelson, Matt Maher, Chris Tomlin, BarlowGirl, Marcos Witt.
