4/6/2006 HOUSTON -- The Houston Japan Festival will take place Saturday, April 8th and Sunday, April 9th 2006 in the Japanese Gardens at Hermann Park. This should be a really awesome event marked with Japanese drumming demonstrations, Aikido demonstrations, kendama, and much more. There will also be anime, manga, tea ceremonies, and much more exhibitions and events. Two stages will offer a variety of entertainment, including traditional Japanese music, dance and martial arts.
Also experience Houston's beautiful Japanese Garden while enjoying Festival activities. Stroll the shaded paths, enjoy the beauty of the flowers and encounter Japanese musical entertainment, watch fascinating objects created by the art of origami, and witness a Tea Ceremony (Cha-no-yu) and Ikebana exhibit.
