3/1/2007-- LIFE expectancy in
Japan has risen, with that of women, the world's longest, extending by nearly a
year, the health ministry said.
Women's life expectancy increased to 85.52 years in 2005 from 84.60 years in
2000, and men's to 78.56 years from 77.72 years.
