9/11/2006 Houston— Johnny Rockets, a 1950's-style diner, recently opened the doors to a new location in Sugar Land Town Square near Houston. Known for big burgers and hand-dipped shakes, Johnny Rockets occupies 3,208 square feet of retail space within the 32-acre town square.
The Lake Forest-based restaurant chain also operates two other restaurants in the Houston area. Johnny Rockets joins restaurant tenants such as P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Perry's Steakhouse & Grille, Vineyard on the Square and Fish City Grill at Sugar Land Town Square.
Phase One of Sugar Land Town Square, developed by Planned Community Developers, is complete and includes a 300-room Marriott hotel, 167 mid-rise residential condos and 200,000 square feet of upscale retail and restaurants.
