Houston's Texas First National Bank celebrates Chinese New Year
1.30.2006 Monday- Today marks the second day of the Chinese Lunar New
Year. Texas First National Bank held
their annual Chinese New Year celebration by holding a Lion Dance performance
inside their main branch office (9315 Bellaire Blvd.). The performance was
amazing and a sight to see.
Many
people including Texas First National Bank employees were on hand to see the
Lion dance perform spectacular tricks like walking on a tight rope in the air
and climbing a ladder. Chinese drummers started the performance off with an
energetic beat. A total of 5 lions rummaged throughout the bank going to each
office and blessed them with good fortune and prosperity.
