- A recent online poll of 6,021 people nationwide found 80 percent
saying Chinese men are under so much stress that a "men's day", which is
supposed to fall on Aug 3 every year, is essential. Only 9 percent of
respondents, on the other hand, felt such a day was not needed, partly
because it lacks a historical precedent, among other things.
