6/6/2010 BEIJING -- Chinese film "Mulan", directed by
Jingle Ma and featuring Zhao Wei and Chen Kun, received six nominations
for the 30th Hundred Flowers Awards, Chinafilm.com reports.
"Mulan", known in Chinese as "Hua Mulan", opened on November 27, 2009 and made 80 million yuan (US$12 million) at the box office. It follows the Chinese folktale of Hua Mulan (Zhao Wei), a young heroine who dresses as a man to fight in the war in place of her old father.
