Hon Hai Group chairman Terry Gou has demonstrated his desire to resolve the issue by coming up with a series of remedies, including a 22 percent pay raise for workers. Senior government officials such as Vice President Vincent Siew , Premier Wu Den-yih and Legislative Speaker Wang Jin-pyng have called on the departments involved to help Gou get things under control.
