Taiwan
ranked 17th in the World Trade Organization's (WTO's) global ranking of
exporters in 2009, moving up a notch from the previous year.
Taiwan was the weakest exporter, however, of the four traditional Asian Tigers -- Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan. South Korea ranked ninth, Hong Kong was 11th and Singapore was 14th, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) officials said Monday.
