11/25/2008-- According to Taiwanese media
reports, in celebration of the Chinese mainland's gift of Giant pandas
to Taiwan, Chen Feng-hsien, a sculptor of miniatures for 28 years from
Sindian City, Taiwan, recently spent almost half a month creating "the
world's smallest pandas". Carved out of resin and measuring only 0.7
millimeter high, these two adorable Giant pandas named "We Are Going to
Taiwan," can be seen only through a high-powered magnifying glass.
