1/5/2007 -- Dear Friends,

Vietnamese has a say "Uong nuoc nho nguon!"

Embedded in his humane will, he rescued me and thousands other Vietnamese after the War! Yesterday was 31 years of past memories in America. A life of many's dream to have! Yet, I have not had a chance to thank the man who gave me hope...

President Ford, Here is a thank you note to you, Mr. President

January 2nd, 2007
Houston, Texas

Looking out from a classroom window in my early days in America, into my life!
I was lost, half missed "Que Huong," other missed "Cha Me hien!"
A teenager, a life forward, field of dreams.
And hope, and life, and strangers who called friends!

31 years past, a man with Hope!
And dream, and Love for Human!

Since when I soak in your thoughts for "Humanity."
May I follow your footsteps and shadow!
For world peace, no hungers, no poverty, no more War!

For a Ford, you may not be the inventor of Model-T!
For you Mr. Ford, you will always be the man who propelled the "Boat."
That rescued me, rescuing 85 millions plus ......... boat people of both shores!

Farewell to Mr. President, whose my dream starts!
May God takes you to his kingdom... and cherish you for eternity! ... in me!
