7/16/2007-- Taiwan's College of
Marine Sciences has staged its degree ceremony - underwater. The university
president wore a diving suit and handed waterproof certificates to each student,
reports China News Network.
The ceremony was held in the aquarium of the National Museum of Marine Biology
which runs the college, in partnership with the National Donghwa University.
University president Huang Wenshu said: "Students can conduct their project in
the museum, while the museum can strengthen its research and development through
the university."
