Two Houston firefighters were taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital: one with a strained back and one with a possible fractured wrist. Fire officials said possibly more than a dozen units were destroyed, and they were all occupied. The manager of the town homes said a six-unit building was lost, and the units were privately owned.
At 5:20 a.m. the fire was at two alarms, and officials said it was already a three-alarm fire at 6:05 a.m. A power line runs between the two complexes, but it is down and may have caused power outages. The Red Cross is sending a representative to the location of the fire.Houston Community News >> Huge Fire Destroys Town homes in West Houston
