I went last week to this restaurant the restaurant smell like bathroom, tables dirty, the staff were eating when they were serving the restroom with terrible smell, the rudeness of the cashier when I went for a pick up order his name: Michael. a oriental guy very unprofessional. The rice good flavor but I paid for house rice (pork,chicken,shrimp)+3 shrimps,4 strips of chicken 4 small cubes of pork not good I use to like it but not any more , rude people, not clean environment, ok service , attitude problems...I will never go there.

I used the online menu to place an order. After receiving my order the
restaurant called me back and began to tell me that A) a side of Sweet
and Sour would be an extra dollar, B) Crispy Noodles are an extra .50
cents per bag, and C) that the price for a large beef fried rice was
$25!!! The price on their menu was $18. I had no problem with the first
two but the extra $7 for the beef fried rice is just BS!! When I told
the manager they needed to honor their own menu prices, the A-hole hung
up on me. WHAT KIND OF CRAP SERVICE ARE THESE EFFING PEOPLE TRYING TO
HAND PEOPLE?!?!?!
This is the kind of thing restaurant owners should not support and need
to ensure never happens again. You just DO NOT treat customers this way.

WOW! The B E S T Chinese food I have ever had . The fried catfish is to die for it is AMAZING ! The waitress' could be a little nicer and maybe spruce up on their English because the man didn't know what I meant when I asked for tartar sauce but besides that they are wonderful !

Being a transplanted "Yankee" I have eaten plenty of Chinese food over the years. 888 ranks in the top 10 with me. I especially recommend the spare ribs...moist, juicy and plenty of meat. With the prices, service and the quality of food you can't go wrong.

We eat at 888 all the time and order off the Chinese menu. Each time we
ask our really nice waiter what they recommend and we always enjoy it.
They are really friendly. The shredded smoke duck is to die for. Add
some corn tortillas to that and it would be heaven. We love this place!

Those people that gave this restaurant a score of 5 are either delirious
or are employees trying to keep their job. The wait staff is horrible,
the girl at the front speaks to you in a condescending manner. The rice
was dry and looked old, so I did not eat it. The chicken did not smell
right, so I passed on that. I did eat the lo mein which seemed okay, but
I ended up getting diarrhea. I have spoken to others that have eaten at
this restaurant and most have had a bad experience. Most have left with
diarrhea. WILL NOT be a patron here ever again.

The food is great! Me and A. F. order out from here at least once a week
and every time we get the same delivery guy and every time he shakes our
hand. We think that's swell. Always friendly and great service. Amazing

My boyfriend and I eat 888 once a week, they deliver within 30 minutes and the food is always right. The food is always hot and DELICIOUS !!! I highly recommend eating here.

Deelish! their seafood soup and chicken lettuce wrap are the best! I order it every time! I recommend sesame beef, pork in garlic sauce & the schezuan shrimp! omg...so goooooooood! go 888! oh and I love their staff! so lively and friendly!

Awesome food! Try the curry style rice it's
spicy and tasty. They will curry style any rice dish you want. I can't
wait until the one in Clear Lake opens so I won't have to drive all the
way to Dickinson!

While not the best Chinese food I've ever
had, it is probably the best I had while living in TX (only here for a
year). Alex F. is a bit over dramatic about the General Tso's chicken -
while not the best I've ever had, it didn't make me want to projectile
vomit, and in fact, I enjoyed eating it. Give me a break Alex! I'd eat
there again . . . if I wasn't moving out of state tomorrow.

This is seriously THE BEST Chinese food I've ever eaten. The food is so fresh, the egg rolls and wonton soup are so delicious! The minced chicken lettuce wrap--YUM!! Without a doubt the BEST Chinese food I've had in a restaurant. The service is wonderful and the wait staff is always cordial. I can't get enough of that chili sauce they have on the table, it's like crack!!

I love the food here. It is so addicting. Today will be like the 6th time I order to pick-up in the last two weeks. I love their Shrimp Hunan style I recommend it. My boyfriend loves the house special lo mein. 5 thumbs up to this place!

I love this restaurant.....It's the one place I love to eat. The sweet and sour fish on the Chinese menu is the best and the fried dumpling yummmmm.....I'm drooling already! The staff are very friendly and everyone look so nice with their new uniform. I'm so amazed how the cashiers can handle the phone ringing like crazy, I think they have like 5 phones I'm very impress. Just their is this one waiter I don't really like, He so rude...I don't know his name though!!! But other then that they have the best Chinese food EVER!!!!!

The best things about this restaurant is that they deliver, their lo mein, and their szechuan chicken. Everything else that I have tasted was not very good. The tsao chicken, the egg drop soup, the wonton soup, the pepper steak, and their egg rolls are overpriced. For the best Chinese and Japanese food, go to King Food in Webster.

I took my girlfriend to 888 Chinese Restaurant and she was totally impressed by this place. At first glance, we saw the nice decorated place. From the Old Chinese style rickshaw, raincoat and the amazing wine display, we were totally impressed by the interior setting. The waiters were very friendly too. At first we didn’t know what to order, so she recommended fried dumplings for appetizer, beef and shrimp noodle soup, orange beef and shredded pork in garlic sauce. Out of these 4 dishes, I like the shredded pork in garlic sauce the best. The pork is very tender with the garlic sauce, and when mixed with the fried rice, it tastes even better. I did not like the orange beef as much though because it is a bit too salty. Anyways I would recommend this restaurant for those who lives in the Southeast Houston.

My boyfriend and I went to the 888 restaurant because it was new, and we have never been there before. As we walked in everything was very nicely decorated. We had two servers that helped us out and they were both very caring and informative. Levi and Kieu were their names and if anyone was to go to the restaurant I recommend asking for them. But all together the experience was one that I will never forget and the food was great.

The best Chinese restaurant in Clear Lake, League city area. Try to order from the Chinese menu, the smoke duck is wonderful so is the eggplant clay pot. I wish the restaurant is more spacious.

Sub-Par at best. The fried rice tasted okay, but the General Tso's Chicken was horrible! More like General Tso Bad's Chicken! I mean it seemed like after I tasted it, I wanted to projectile vomit mall over my waiter Levi, who contrary to other reviews, was the most racist person I've ever had to deal with. He called me names I never even heard of. I am never eating at this establishment ever again.
