The Blanton Museum of Art: 24-Hour Extremely Grand Opening Celebration
Celebrate Austin's new cultural experience with the Extremely Grand Opening of
the new Blanton Museum of Art. The new Blanton will host a 24-hour public grand
opening beginning with live performances by Austin bands, food and drinks,

Mexic-Arte Festival 2006
The 7th Annual Festival Mexico will continue to build upon it's reputation as a
fun event featuring the finest Mexican cuisine. This year's featured region in

Break! The Urban Funk Spectacular
This colorful family show that celebrates 30 years of Hip-Hop dancing, is filled

The Vietnam Experience. The Vietnam Experience is strongly
interpreted in this selection of 22 paintings, watercolors, and drawings by six
combat artists.
These paintings and drawings give a visual sense of the Vietnam War, from the
colors and landscape to the people and the adrenaline-charged combat actions.
The paintings capture the surprise attacks of the guerilla conflict, the vigil
River Patrol Boats maintained in keeping rivers open, and eyewitness accounts of
