Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival. Join amateurs and pros alike as they compete their hottest sauces in a taste-off. With categories for individuals, restaurants and commercial bottler's, there are plenty of hot sauces for festival-goers to sample. The festival also includes live music, popular Austin restaurant vendors and merchants from across the Southwest selling cookbooks, fresh peppers, and chili pepper memorabilia. Location: Waterloo Park.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. This wonderful adaptation of C.S. Lewis' classic faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Asian, the great lion, his struggle with the evil White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander through an old wardrobe into the never-to-be-forgotten land of Narnia.
