It STILL Ain't Braggin' If It's True!
The museum marks its fifth anniversary by using the same theme of the opening
year exhibit – but by weaving new tales. The qualities of friendship, vision,
perseverance, pride, showmanship and swagger and related stories are highlighted
in this exhibit of one-of-a-kind objects. Location: Bob Bullock Texas State

Big Bugs
David Rogers’ Big Bugs exhibit includes eight enormous sculptures of insects—a
1,200-pound praying mantis, a 7-foot assassin bug and the biggest spider you

Bad Dates
Theresa Rebeck, co-author of Omnium-Gatherum, strikes comic gold with this
adventure of a 40-year-old Austinite single mom reentering the dating scene in
the Big Apple from behind an avalanche of designer shoes. From Cholesterol Man
to Bug Guy, it's a bumpy ride of Mr. Wrongs. But, what's with the big secret
hidden in the shoebox and why is the Romanian mob furious? Location: Zachary

Cronkite Moon Rock exhibit
Veteran newsman Walter Cronkite’s moon rock will be on display at UT’s Texas
Memorial Museum. The moon rock awarded to Cronkite is part of the 842 pounds of
samples brought back to Earth during the six Apollo lunar expeditions from 1969

Bat Watching
The 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats that live beneath the Congress Avenue
Bridge take flight in a mass exodus each night at dusk. Located at Congress Ave.
