B scene at The Blanton Musuem of Art. Join us as the city's most talented wordsmiths wax poetic as the Blanton hosts the Austin Poetry Slam, featuring live music, tour, art activities, cash bar, and much more.

Amuse-Bouche Exhibition. Amuse-Bouche marks the seventh consecutive year of collaboration between Department of Art and Art History graduate students on a summer exhibition at the Creative Research Laboratories. This select group of work represents a wide range of media including painting, sculpture, large-scale works on paper, and video. Location: UT Austin Campus. Event ID 8/16

ZACH Theatre presents THE CLEAN HOUSE. ZACH Theatre presents the Austin premiere of "The Clean House." Written by one of the most original new voices in American theatre, this 2005 Pulitzer Prize winner is a quirky and moving comedy about love, loss and the power of a good joke. Event ID: 8/17

Play It By Ear

Come explore the art and science of tinkering with sound in our new feature exhibit. Bring to life artworks created by sound artists. Make your own sound art. Experiment with echoes. Change your voice to sound like a robot. This exhibit takes a creative, playful approach to learning all about sound production and reception. Bat Watching
