Lunar New Year
To welcome the Year of Rat, the Asian American Cultural Center will host a Lunar New Year Celebration.There will be different Asian cultural performances of dance, music, martial arts demonstration and authentic Asian foods for the entire family to enjoy throughout the day. "The Passage of the Underground Railroad" - Austin Children's Choir Sings in Code at the Carver
Austin Children's Choir embarks on a collaboration to help the community sing a song of unity through the unique presentation of "The Passage of the Underground Railroad" at The George Washington Carver Museum. Rather than simply presenting a program of music in a concert hall, artistic director Kathleen Turner approached the Carver Museum about a deeper approach. Location: George Washington Carver Museum.

Come explore the art and science of tinkering with sound in our new feature exhibit. Bring to life artworks created by sound artists. Make your own sound art. Experiment with echoes. Bat Watching
