Spring Egg-Stravaganza. Grab your baskets and hop on over to Milburn Park on March 28th at 2 pm for the Spring Egg-Stravaganza.  Kids 12 years old and under will hunt for more than 79,000 pieces of candy, prizes and egg.  Children can also get their photo with the bunny (bring your own camera) until 2:45 pm, and they can also enjoy jumping in the moonwalk.  Free to the public. Location: Elizabeth Milburn Park.

Shou Ping at Wildflower Center. Ping creates beautiful watercolor paintings of wildflowers, birds and other natural subjects, and then cuts them into 3-D sculptures like you’ve never seen before Location: Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Event ID: 5/30

Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo. Austin goes cowboy as PCRA competitors hit the arena and area-students exhibit prize livestock. Headline entertainers perform in concert nightly. Location: Travis County Exposition Center. Event ID: 3/27

Bat Watching
The 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats that live beneath the Congress Avenue Bridge take flight in a mass exodus each night at dusk. Located at Congress Ave. & Cesar Chavez St. Austin, TX 78704.
