Pioneer Farms May Day Festival. Come to Pioneer Farms for an afternoon featuring music by the Biscuit Brothers, dancing by the Contemporary Cloggers, kite flying, crafts, games, historic demonstrations at all the home sites including quilting, spinning, weaving, and sheep shearing. There will also be re-enactments by a Native American group and The Lost Hope Gunfighters. Amy's Ice Cream will be set up so you can enjoy an ice cream treat while visiting Pioneer Farms. And be sure to come hungry. There will be a hot dog stand selling hot dogs, chips, and cold drinks. Take a stroll down Merchant Lane to see the many vendors selling their wares. Under the Sea 3D. Under the Sea 3D transports moviegoers to some of the most exotic and isolated undersea locations on earth, including Southern Australia, New Guinea and others in the Indo-Pacific region, allowing them to experience face-to-face encounters with some of the most mysterious and stunning creatures of the sea. Sculpture Society Exhibit Debuts at Wildflower Center. The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center debuts nature-inspired sculptures by Texas artists in its gardens. The exhibit contains 38 sculptures in ceramic, copper, wood and other media by members of the Texas Society of Sculptors. The sculptures range from fanciful peacocks and female sirens to realistic images of a horned toad, human faces and other subjects. Event ID: 5/31
