The Scene

This is one of the most beautiful restaurants in the Clear Lake Area. It has a fusion-style interior deco and an impressive wine display. The wine collection includes some of the most famous Chinese wines. (ask the manager if you are interested ). With its rare collection of landscape items, an old style raincoat, and a rickshaw, 888 Chinese restaurant delivers great atmosphere and authentic Chinese dishes that is hard to find.

The Food

Food is plentiful and delicious. The menu contains a myriad number of dishes and all at an affordable price.

Heads Up

888 Chinese restaurant is a good place for all occasions: family dinners, business lunches, or even on a date. If you live around the Clear Lake area, then this is definitely the place to go and enjoy the experience.

I took my girlfriend to 888 Chinese Restaurant and she was totally impressed by this place. At first glance, we saw the nice decorated place. From the Old Chinese style rickshaw, raincoat and the amazing wine display, we were totally impressed by the interior setting. The waiters were very friendly too. At first we didn’t know what to order, so she recommended fried dumplings for appetizer, beef and shrimp noodle soup, orange beef and shredded pork in garlic sauce. Out of these 4 dishes, I like the shredded pork in garlic sauce the best. The pork is very tender with the garlic sauce, and when mixed with the fried rice, it tastes even better. I did not like the orange beef as much though because it is a bit too salty. Anyways I would recommend this restaurant for those who lives in the Southeast Houston.
