The Ice at Discovery Green will span 7,200 square feet of the model boat basin on Kinder Lake, hold 6,000-gallons of water, and measure a cool 22 degrees. The skating experience will also include a toddler ice rink, skate shop, special performances by regional figure skating stars; jazz music, film and DJ nights; and skating with Santa, and more. Houston Discovery Green Park

Discovery Green  Park is a 11.5 acre urban park located in the middle of Downtown Houston.

One can find a man-made lake, 100-yr old live oak trees, kids water zone area, and a doggy fun area. There are also a couple of restaurants and eateries located within the park.

Also, don't forget to visit the Downtown Green Market every Thursday, 4-7:30pm.
