Houston Chinese Festival held in
Sugar Land 10/22/05 |

City of Sugar Land hosted the first annual Houston
Chinese festival today, 10/22 in front of Sugar Land
City Hall. Sugar Land Mayor David G. Wallace kicked off
the festivities.
There were lots of activities including Dragon Dance (click
here to view a short video clip), Chinese harp
performances, acrobatics, fashion show, and a salute to
Chinese Veterans of Houston.

Here is one of the many booths at the Chinese festival
in Sugar Land.

The fashion show showing the different Chinese dynasties
and their dress attire.

A nice turnout on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
