Inspirational Quotes and Prayers

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed by Thy name,

Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done,

On earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,

Forever and ever, Amen.

Inspirational Pieces

A reflection oh so clear. I've heard of "once was blind now I see"
What do you see when you see me? Look in my eyes and journey this path that once was but now will be. This wandering heart on a gravel road. So rough and calloused, oh the stories I've told. Constantly passing through fires and darkness, becoming a new creation more in His likeness.
Envisioning a world with no end, no tears, no sorrows, no pain to begin.
A place where everything moves with time. This place will soon be yours, be mine. Eyes shut tight afraid to see, what lies ahead and what soon will be. Eyes staring through eyelids looking for another world, another peace.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of God.

- Matthew 5:3-10

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end.

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. [Proverbs 23:7]
