Men's Clay Court Tennis Championship. Houston events at River Oaks Country Club. The second longest-running USTA National Championship in Houston remains in Houston thru at least 2012. Only the US Open has a longer history. The club hosted its first tennis tournament in 1931 and was part of the professional tennis circuit from 1970 through 1984 before deciding to have a one-week exhibition instead. Stages Theatre - Hunter Gatherers. An animal sacrifice kicks off the evening, followed by an orgy of sex, violence, deception, wrestling and dancing. Where Clouds Disperse: Ink Paintings by Suh Se-ok.  Over his 40-year career, Suh Se-ok has incorporated his traditional training with his Modernist sensibility to create dynamic works that embody his artistic vision. He has been especially transfixed by the figurative form and has continually explored and perfected it until it evolved into powerful formal gestures of simple lines that comprise his definitive pictorial vocabulary.
