City of Houston Housing Assistance Program Seminar: 12:30 pm. City of Houston Housing Assistance Program officials will offer information about its program which gives home buyers from $9000 to $19,000 free money for down payment for buying a house, new or otherwise, which only require some things done by the buyer. The house must be for residential use; must be in City of Houston; must quality for loan for the balance of the purchase price with a lender; must live in house for 5 years (no investors); must attend seminar; and a few other minor requirements. This is free money that many people don’t know about. The money is given to use as down payment on a house being purchased. The Cat's Meow. At the Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibition presents a wide range of works of art that celebrate the mystery of cats, in all of their nine lives.
