Houston Ballet - Swan Lake. Set to the hauntingly beautiful Tchaikovsky score, Swan Lake tells the classic tale of Odette - a beautiful maiden transformed into a swan by an evil knight - and the prince who swears his enduring love for her. Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of China's First Emperor. The Houston Museum of Natural Science is excited to present one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century, the tomb complex of China's First Emperor, Shi Huangdi, features thousands of terra cotta warriors that were intended to protect him throughout eternity. Where Clouds Disperse: Ink Paintings by Suh Se-ok. Over his 40-year career, Suh Se-ok has incorporated his traditional training with his Modernist sensibility to create dynamic works that embody his artistic vision. He has been especially transfixed by the figurative form and has continually explored and perfected it until it evolved into powerful formal gestures of simple lines that comprise his definitive pictorial vocabulary.
