Swing, Jive, Pop! Into Dance. 11am. Watch dance of all styles and eras explode onto stage to engage, entertain and enlighten students of all ages. Houston Inside Out and the Power of Movement. 7pm. Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of China's First Emperor. The Houston Museum of Natural Science is excited to present one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century, the tomb complex of China's First Emperor, Shi Huangdi, features thousands of terra cotta warriors that were intended to protect him throughout eternity. Where Clouds Disperse: Ink Paintings by Suh Se-ok. Over his 40-year career, Suh Se-ok has incorporated his traditional training with his Modernist sensibility to create dynamic works that embody his artistic vision. He has been especially transfixed by the figurative form and has continually explored and perfected it until it evolved into powerful formal gestures of simple lines that comprise his definitive pictorial vocabulary.
