How Nanita Learned to Make Flan. 11am. In this bilingual version of the popular children's story, the young daughter of a poor shoemaker needs shoes of her own. Brian Greene. 7:30pm. With a dazzling screen presentation on the cosmos, Brian Greene conveys the wonders of science. He's author of The Elegant Universe, a Pulitzer finalist which was made into an Emmy winning PBS series which he hosted. Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of China's First Emperor. The Houston Museum of Natural Science is excited to present one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century, the tomb complex of China's First Emperor, Shi Huangdi, features thousands of terra cotta warriors that were intended to protect him throughout eternity. Where Clouds Disperse: Ink Paintings by Suh Se-ok.  Over his 40-year career, Suh Se-ok has incorporated his traditional training with his Modernist sensibility to create dynamic works that embody his artistic vision. He has been especially transfixed by the figurative form and has continually explored and perfected it until it evolved into powerful formal gestures of simple lines that comprise his definitive pictorial vocabulary.
