Chicken Donburi Recipe
Yield: 4 Servings
1/2 lb. boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 cup forest mushrooms (soaked, drained and sliced)
1/2 cup bamboo shoots, sliced
2 green onions, sliced diagonally into 2 inch lengths
6 cups cooked Niko Niko medium grain rice (or any rice)
1/4 cup Kikkoman or Yamasa Soy Sauce
1 cup Sun Luck Soup Stock or Chicken broth
1/4 cuo Jujjinab Ahu - mirin
2 tsb sugar
Peas or shredded seaweed.
Heat sauce in medium pan and add chicken, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. Bring to a boil then simmer 3 minutes. Bring to a boil again, stir eggs gently until cooked. Add green onions. Divide cooked rice into 4 large bowls. Spoon sauce and ingredients over rice. Garnish.
