Portland, Oregon is located 8 miles south of Washington State borders. Portland
and the state of Oregon is well known for "no sales tax" and the beautiful
Columbia River and Mt. Hood.

For those who are more adventurous and looking at
the scenery, we recommend you to go East of Portland, on I-84, to the Gorge. The
Columbia River carved out this magnificent stretch of land East towards the
Dalles where mountainous landscape and river meet (the name Gorge derived from
millions of years ago, volcanic eruptions created massive lava flows down the
mountains. 15,000 years ago, a massive flood created the Gorge carving out these
lava mountains. The end result is today's gorgeous scenery along I-84.)
